Ramsey came into our care as a stray so we have very limited information on his behaviour in a home including housetraining or separation anxiety. He is looking to have someone in the home with him as much as possible as we do not know if he would cope being left home alone. Ramsey can live with children aged 14 years and over and is looking to be the only pet in the home but he would like to walk with dog friends. Angel suits her name as she is a lovely sweet girl who loves a little cuddle. Angel is looking to have a secure garden with a 5ft fence and direct access to the home. Angel would also prefer to have some quieter areas to walk that she wouldn't be overwhelmed with how many dogs she saw.
Shadow has lots of energy, and has more than kept up on 8km runs and cycles! He is very intelligent and learns quickly, especially if there are some treats involved. Shadow has had an unsettled past and needs owners who will devote their time to him. Fife Rottweiler Rescue relies on donations to allow them to continue their work, and they are always looking for new foster homes. Home checks will need to be carried out before any dog is adopted, and there is an adoption fee to help cover the cost of vaccinations, neutering/spaying, and microchipping.

She enjoys going out for her walks, but does enjoy going at her own gentle pace and likes to play with a tennis ball. Vanna can be left alone for a couple of hours a day but this should be slowly increased over time. This beautiful girl can pass other dogs but isn't overly keen on interacting with them, especially larger breeds - she prefers to be socially distanced. Jingles is a fab boy who came to us through no fault of his own - he absolutely loves to greet people and he really loves a tennis ball! He is unable to live with children so anybody in the house will need to be over 16 years old.
All the dogs that PADS rehome are vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms before heading to their new family. All pets that are rehomed are microchipped and come with four weeks of Petplan insurance. They have strict rehoming policies at this rescue in order to protect the residents in their care and to give them the best opportunity of finding a happy home. The charity doesn’t have a rescue centre and is run by volunteers that work from home. They try to rehome the dogs in need straight from home to home, or the dogs may be placed in foster homes and, as a last resort, kennels. Fife Rottweiler Rescue is a small group of volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Rottweilers in the Fife area. They believe that Rotties are a misunderstood breed and that with the right training and environment, they can make excellent pets. KWK9 Rescue Centre is located in Caithness and was set up to help rehome needy dogs in the local area. The charity doesn’t have kennels but instead relies on foster carers to look after the dogs until they are ready to be rehomed.

With social distancing measures still fully in place, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home has had to completely overhaul its rehoming process. Now, all initial rehoming enquiries will be taken via an online form, followed by a telephone interview for people who may be a match for an animal. Only then if the interview is successful will the person be invited down to meet the dog or cat of their choice and discuss their rehoming further in a socially distant and safe manner. Walk-in visits will not be allowed whilst social distancing measures remain in place. The group is dedicated to the rehoming of Staffordshire Bull Terriers in need and works tirelessly to find loving homes for their dogs. Once rescued and assessed, they are checked by a vet, neutered, treated for parasites, and microchipped before being rehomed.
Within two days of being back in rescue Gracie was living in the main house with 5 other dogs she had never met before. She is a very submissive dog, who will react to other dogs in order to get them to stay away from her, but once she has been introduced properly she is the most playful dog you could wish to meet. Jingles would best suit a family who have owned dogs before, ideally collies. He is able to be left alone in the home for 3-4 hours as he has been comfortable with this previously.
